Edinburgh Stone Repair carried out a number of tasks on our property including a bespoke stone threshold and step repair, repointing of the front elevation and front wall and a coating of lime mortar following the removal of a previously failed cement repair at the rear of the property. Steven and his team did an excellent job on my masonry. The stonework had been damaged by water from an internal leak. They repointed a substantial section, cleaned up the stone where possible, and repaired the cornice. All of the work was done efficiently and my questions were answered thoroughly at each stage. The price was reasonable and Steven scheduled the work promptly, once my insurance company had approved his quote. Steven’s team worked around my schedule and finished the job earlier than anticipated. They are highly professional, friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend them!

Was brought into cut existing steel of damaged wall caused by roots of tree growth. After the wall was rebuilt I then proceeded to weld existing rails back on. We had a requirement to have an internal wall blasted and cleaned. At the beginning of the process, Steven offered valuable advice on the aesthetics. This related to pointing and sealing the sandstone. Based on his guidance we did neither and left the wall in its original, characterful form. I would recommend their service.
