Carved to match, built in lime
At Edinburgh Stone Repair Ltd we carry out stone repairs to various churches and iconic buildings throughout Scotland, including Meadowbank Church, Portobello Church, the Calton Hill monuments and Bonaly Tower.
We replace unsafe masonry and dress sandstone to match the original carving, secured with 20mm stainless steel dowels and epoxy adhesive, then built with traditional lime mortar — to preserve Edinburgh’s buildings for many years to come.
